Is Venom a cannibal?

I've heard his 'I'll eat your brains' line a few times, but did Brock, or any other symbiote wearer actually ever eat anyone?

He is not, I never saw him trying to eat another symbiote.

the symbiote is carnivorous and eats brains yes. Eddie Brock fought the symbiote's urges whereas Mac Gargan gave into them.
