One thing I keep forgeting to ask is about the New 52. Is it a new universe or is it still consited New Earth ?
Is The New 52 a New Universe ?
I've been wondering that, too. Here's a quote from Huntress' page. "... and has been stranded on Earth 1 (where most of the DCnU has taken place, so far)..."
I don't know if everything is taking place on Earth 1, though.

I think there is a mistake on Huntress' page. Earth-1 is the Earth of that line of graphic novels (JMS' Superman, Johns' Batman). The DCnU probably takes place on New Earth.

It's still New Earth. It's just been rebooted.
@DarthShap: That is a different universe but Earth 1 is the designated name of the New Earth where the DCnU takes place.
Where did you get that from? There cannot be two "Earth-1" in the Multiverse. One is "New Earth", the other is "Earth-1".

Didio recently announced that the main Earth was called Prime Earth (note: not Earth-Prime). It's still essentially New Earth or Earth-0 or whatever you want to call it, just under a different name.
Basically this answers your question. It's why Power Girl and Huntress call New Earth 'Earth 1'. It's still New Earth to us.
@noj: Damn I need to start listening to the podcasts. I'm missing out on all sorts of news.
Ok problem solved. The DC Universe heavily changed its continuity into the DCnU following the events of Flashpoint in 2011. This was part of an effort to make storylines more accessible to newer readers, beginning with the New 52. This new timeline combines elements from the DCU, Vertigo Universe and Wildstorm Universe while drastically changing the origins and histories of characters.
