Is Tenchi Masaki the same person of kami tenchi ?

I never understand Tenchi masaki is the same person of kami tenchi or no ? kami tenchi = tenchi masaki ?

for example he is like a transformation of tenchi like goku e goku ssj3 ?

@jigen879: no, tenchi masaki isn't the most powerful per se because it is still housed in an avatar which severely limits that power. kami tenchi has access to all of it.

tenchi can't use all the powers of the kami. he even has trouble controlling it.

@jigen879: what's so strange when supposed omnipotents like the chousin are actually nigh omnipotents ? as there is no such thing as nigh omnipotents except in fiction, there's nothing in it to be strange.

the moderator is right that tenchi at his strongest is omnipotent because he becomes kami and omnipotent battles are banned. if that were normal kami tenchi with three or six light hawk wings, it wouldn't have been locked. read the battle forum rules for such thread.

It's strange the fact that in the anime anyone name that power who go out from Tenchi Kami Tenchi but all the chousin continue to say the higher power is Tenchi Masaki and noa oth person this from the dialogues from the anime . The name kami techi is invented after by the fans but i saw the anime and inhe dialogues at ththe end the chousin explain the form of tenchi in white is the power of Tenchi Masaki bah

@jigen879: you're comparing different universes. athena isn't omnipotent compared to kami. athena can fully appear in the universe she is in but kami in his only appearance threatened to destroy the 12 dimensions of the tenchi universe. what part of tenchi isn't kami at full form can you not understand ? he's quite limited to the universe he is in.

I have seen all the movies and the idea that there is a different being called Kami Tenchi is completely wrong. If you watch the film carefully to the story is that being white, leaving the body of Tenchi, is the same power of Tenchi Masaki and not a different entity. This is because Tenchi Masaki can not use his power, but since he is omnipotent, he can at the same intervene with his power. So Tenchi Masaki is not the avatar of the Supreme Being, but Tenchi Masaki is himself the omnipotent being which was searched Tokimi, Washi and Tsunami.

@jigen879: it isn't a different being. avatars are representatives of beings too powerful to exist in a certain plane of existence and tenchi is the avatar of kami. the white being leaving the body of tenchi is kami and it threatened to destroy the universe. it's different from tenchi because that form cannot fully manifest in the universe tenchi is currently in and tenchi has no knowledge of accessing that power, if tenchi was the omnipotent one in that series, then why does he have to go through all that to generate light hawk wings when he could just go kami mode ? he never knew what he truly was before that event.

your explanation is even confounding with contradicting statements like "tenchi cannot use his power but since he is omnipotent he can at the same intervene with his power". if he was truly omnipotent, z wouldn't cut him in the first place. omnipotence means having the power to be not damaged at all.

Tenchi Masaki does not know his omnipotent powers but since he can not die , despite the Z bisects . His omnipotence allows him to save everything , in fact he is moving to Saturn instantly , and then nonoste he was blocked by the same Counteractor he managed to free himself. So the story of the anime is this the chousin creating the universe and all reality were trying to create a being greater than themselves and also omnipotent, and this turns out to be Tenchi Masaki , who does not yet know his extraordinary powers but being he uses his almighty omnipotence unconsciously

PS however, the being who able to be not hurt is invulnerable, while if an omnipotent wanted to be hurt the omnipotent could also be hurt, just because he can do everything.

@jigen879: an avatar cannot access all the true form's powers. you cannot say tenchi masaki is the omnipotent one when he can't even access all the powers of his true form. yes, the anime doesn't say anything of him being the avatar of kami but logically speaking, tenchi is such being with the appearance of kami and kami defeating the counter actor.

But in the film after the battle, the Chousin explain what happened and they clearly explain that they had tried to create an omnipotent being and greater than themselves , and this being is Tenchi Masaki , but throughout the film there is no one who speaks avatar . Even if I have to spell out the word "avatar " is not like a suit of a god , but the avatar is the same god incarnate ( for example Vishnu incarnates but the embodied being is always in the sense that it is Vishnu Vishnu that Vishnu incarnate avatar both possess the same power ) . However, it is clear that Tenchi Masaki does not know it but you understand that his omnipotence is , in fact, he is not aware but unconsciously he eventually does everything . For example, when it is blocked by CounterActor manages to free himself , then he is able to move immediately at Saturn. The Chousin always talk about that Tenchi Masaki is the Almighty, that he just is not ready yet . Then what some fans call " Kami Tenchi " anime nobody ever calls that being Kami Tenchi , because that be like a white shadow in the shape of Tenchi Tenchi is the same power that , for the fact that you do not Tenchi remember to be omnipotent , spoke the same. @princearagaEven if everything is not explained clearly. I think the same production did not mind what the scene was supposed to mean. Tokimi clearly says that the POWERS Tenchi occurred. Ergo, I believe that the whole thing is very confusing, but I might completely reject the theory of the avatar in the anime because it gives no evidence to substantiate this theory

In the story of each character reacts in a difficult situation by showing their latent powers . For example, the thing is crystal clear , when Z saw his parents die , and so he became capable of producing the LHW (even for an interference Tokimi ) . Then when Mrs. Misaki Masaki Jurai saw the death of Azusa and funaho , she went mad and so she became the Counter Actor. So in the same way , Tenchi Masaki shows his true latent powers when he sees Ryoko Hakubi is going to be killed by Z , so he reacts showing his true latent power . In fact, before he manages to avoid the sword moving instantly to Saturn , then he is stopped by a red stripe ( this is the counter actor ) but then when he sees that Ryoko is in danger, he manages to come out with ease by red stripe , then when Z tried to kill Tenchi Masaki showed his hidden powers . This has happened so I think it's safe to Tenchi Masaki and kami are the same entity.

Another thing that shows that Tenchi Masaki is the same amount of Kami. At the end of the anime Chousin explain everything and they clearly say, "Now that the powers of Tenchi have manifested." Maybe it is a bit like Washu that is always the Chousin although it is also a human, what do you think?
