is superior spiderman well liked

im sorry but i tried reading it but after killing my favorite marvel character off then replacing him with a supervillian turned good which to me is like killing bruce wayne off then making a series about joker fighting crime as batman i just cant bring myself to read it fearing what they have done to the character my question is it good

They ruined Spider-Man. Can't believe no other than some easily fooled Avengers can see that it's not him. How can they not know? How can't assume the real spider-Man is in some basement and that there is someone else under there?

By dividing attention on the same topic in different threads we spam the forums with the same threads that lack rich responses.

Also some get bored seeing the same topic again and again.
Sorry for coming out as a douche but you should check this.

The minority may say no but it still somehow ends one of the best selling comics every month ;)

i personally hate it. I think of the biggest reasons why it still sells is because its spiderman. people kept buying in hopes that parker would return. Honestly since marvel is so predictable i think he will be returning by the time the amazing spiderman 2 comes out. I know people who love the idea, i mean if you like the idea read it but if the idea doesn't sound interesting then don't. i got the first issues because peter kept popping now he is gone. its like marvel wants me to hate them. all i need marvel to do is make wolverine a full time teacher and give up on his fights for me to stop reading.

Come on people, relax. It's such an interesting story, the most interesting thing Spider-Man has been in for years. And obviously Peter Parker won't stay dead, he'll most likely be back in time for the second Amazing Spider-Man movie. Nobody is ever dead by comic book logic, so just have fun with this different take on the character while it lasts. You'll have the rest of your life to read about Peter Parker, I'm positive.

Dan Slott is clearly NOT a fan of Spider-man, he doesn't understand the character AT ALL. He writes Spider-man as completely irresponsible and clueless. I mean, just because the story is ballsy, doesn't mean it's good. If that’s the case The Clone Saga and One More Day are the best Spider-man stories ever.
