Yes. Dick is who Batman secretly wishes he were: A better man.

In terms of martial arts, Dick is probably the best out of all of the Robins. Where he really stands out is in agility and speed, he's said to be faster than even Batman.

I've always found him to be the most compelling out of the bunch.

Well Bruce seems to like him best. All of his sons are fantastic characters though. Its really a matter of opinion who is best. They each have their own unique stories and have evolved to become awesome characters apart from batman.

In my opinion, Dick is Damian's true son and the true successor to the cowl, he would bring heart and humanity to the figure of Batman. Superior intelligence and skill do not a hero make.

You'll have to go and read the comics for yourself and make your own mind up about whether or not you feel the same.

@just_banter: I guess, but that's just strength-wise. Batman, Jason, and Tim could all beat him with their smarts alone, imo. (Sorry, it just seems like this guy has no real feats of intellect...but then again, I don't know much about him.)

Its pretty obvious size matters.

He is extremely charismatic, a better fighter, way more agile, a better strategist, has more experience, has better prep feats, etc...

He's Bruce without the angst and brooding. And a little less strength, but more agility.

Nah, he has a few advantages over Batman.

I'll put it this way, in order for Jason Todd and Tim Drake to have relevance in the new 52, DC had to take aspects from Dick Grayson's character and give them to those two.

Batman is his own greatest son.

He's the best fighter, the most intelligent, the first Robin, the most character development, the greatest leader, and Bruce's ultimate successor. He pretty much has it all. He can build a pocket dimension using old Tamaranian Tech (basically creating a virtual Phantom Zone), tactically analyze the optimal solutions for countering the powers of the JLA, rebuild Cyborg, create a doomsday trigger, and build an AI for Titans Tower. He's by far the most intalligent. I've got leadership and fighting feats if you need those as well.

Bruce, Dick and Damian (who encompasses Tim and Jason) work just fine.

Regardless of fighting skills/intellect he has the most humanity of all of them. He's the best person morally

He's not better than Terry, in my opinion. He's got the edge that Jason has, the potential that Tim has, and the light-heartedness Grayson has, and partially the genetics Damian has. All that, and he is Batman. He's not the brightest guy or even the best fighter, but as a character, I'd take him over most the other sons.

Then again, none of them ever got their own show.

But I personally find him the least entertaining of the Robins.
