Ok I don't want to be mean or anything. And most important, I'm not talking about Marvel FANS, I'm talking Marvel FANBOYS. You know the ones who in any debate about anything closely related to Marvel and DC just say "Marvel FTW" and that's it. I hate that. Let's get one thing straight: I'm a Marvel fan, but I'm also a DC fan. Heck, if it weren't for DC I wouldn't even have gotten into comics in the first place. So it really just annoys me when stupid fanboys flood the internet and try to pass off their opinion, something that's completely subjective, as if it's fact. It doesn't sit right with me. I've seen some of these idiots make wild accusations against DC which have either never been true or haven't been true for a good 40 or 50 years. Things like "Marvel's characters are more human". Please, Marvel's been riding that wave fever since some comic nerds said it back in the 70s. Doesn't mean it's true.

I'm surprised someone hasn't pointed out that all fanboys are annoying.

I mostly don't like how anytime DC comes out on top of anything, Marvel fanboys accuse DC fans of fanboyism. It's an endless cycle of silliness, though from what I've seen DC fans seem content in their superiority. (

True, but while I don't find them too annoying, the Marvel fanboy that consistently says that Marvel is more relateable IS REALLY ANNOYING.

This. Fanboys are usually annoying by nature, regardless of allegiance.

The Bane fanboy that thinks he can take on the Spectre is annyoing, the Storm fanboy thanks thinks she can take on TOAA is annoying etc etc...

ermmm Fanboys in general are annoying! There's no point in making a distinction based on whatever franchise they follow.... They are all annoying!

I suppose so....but those are small in number, while the one I posted appears quite consistently around the boards.

as opposed to any other type of Stan? (For a definition of a Stan refer to the song "Stan" by Eminem)

Not really. People saying Marvel is more relatable might appear a lot more often, but that doesn't mean they're fanboys.
