Is Hazmat (Avengers Academy) fireproof???

Does Hazmat's suit offer her resistance to extreme heat? It's never mentioned or spoken of by any of the characters, but she manages to casually shrug off a flamethrower like it barely even bothered her. She was also able to walk through fire and have her gloved hand make direct contact with flame without seeming to feel any pain. So is her suit also fireproof/heatproof??? Can anyone explain?
