Is Doctor Doom more overrated than Batman?

No.. not at all.

Both of those characters get all this over rated recognition because their both normal human who fight super powered being and win without all these Superman ripoff powers (Superhuman strength,durability, invulnerablity,flight and healing factor).

I feel that Doctor Doom lately had become more overrated.

The difference is that Batman's feats got people crying PIS, Doctor Doom's feats are fine with them despite Doctor Doom being human.

How have I overrated Batman again? I don't see it. I don't think he can defeat omnipotent characters, unlike what some Doctor Doom fanboys think their fav. character can.

Doesn't change the fact that he's human and have human reaction speed - Thus losing to Flash, and his limitations can't surpass the universe - Thus losing to TTGL.

Yet people claim otherwise and say "Doctor Doom will find a way!"

I ask "How about Batman?" They cry "NO WAY!"

I'm not comparing in terms of Doctor Doom vs Batman directly.

But Batman has often achieve feats that are above his weight class, why are people here crying PIS still?

Batman is not overrated...

Its all relative.

The only argument for doom against flash is if doom starts the battle with his shield already up.

Doom has many advantages over batman that would make it less overrated compared to a guy in a much less durably suit

At his peak, he was more overrated then Doom will ever hope to be.

lol at some of the people ITT trying to argue Doom not having PIS feats. IMO Doom is more overrated than Batman it used to be the other way around but not now. If Batman and Doom switched popularity levels people would be calling Doom overrated you hipsters just hate popular characters don't you? We have 2 characters who have their fair share of PIS moments, who fight people they realistically shouldn't be fighting. BUT WAIT! One of them is the most popular superhero in the world and the other is a nobody in comparison. So lets praise Doom for being cool and badass and call Batman overrated.

Both are ridiculous PiS machines.

Not implode, imploding is overrated...but a type of sickness will spread across the boards, infecting users with a virus that can't be stopped or quarantined until the proper overratedness returns.

Doom is not overrated he's.....Doom.

Doom makes sense. He is simply that good. He fights high tier enemies all the time.

Batman goes from having trouble fighting lowly street thugs to drop kicking planet shatter beings off their feat and other high tier enemies. That's the thing. He is in the justice league and has beaten every member. He has a stupifying amount of tech, and really, whenever bane comes around. He should just call the batjet or just wear a power armor and beat s*** out of him.

Doom just always fights high tier enemies. Period. Hardly anyone if anyone, in batman's rogue gallery would give doom trouble in a random encounter. Batman is "street level" but he has all this gear that should put him higher. But it doesn't. Doom is above street level and once even stole the powers of probably the most overpowered being to ever exist in comics. (Pre-Retcon Beyonder)

Doom is "that good" but some of the people who he has beat or power jacked are smarter and more powerful than him. So shouldn't those feats be PIS? You said he consistently fights powerful beings but he consistently fights FF and they obviously aren't as powerful as Beyonder meaning Doom beating him is PIS. Doom is an ant compared to the Beyonder and should've gotten stomped hard by him. If that was Batman people would complain that a human shouldn't be able to challenge a God.

And why would Batman need to use a powersuit on Bane? Bane isn't powerful enough to warrant using one on him. It's like asking why Iron Man doesn't use powerful Hulk/Thor/Phoenix busting type suits for people like Mandarin and Crimson Dynamo. Because they're not powerful enough to warrant it that's why. Saying no one in his Rogues Gallery could beat Doom means nothing considering how OP Doom is. I don't think any Iron Man villain could beat Doom either. Batman even said when he made the Hellbat armor for high end threats which Bane isn't.

Doom has very clear flaws.

No because Dr. Doom actually has viable and consistent feats to allow the hype.
