I love Scott Snyder's main Batman title, but I'm looking to pick up some more Batman comics and a weekly one sounds great. Is Batman Eternal worth it? What did/didn't you like about it?

The book is so incredibly inconsistent. It has numerous writers and artists who cycle in and out depending on which plot thread is being focused on. Sometimes it's terrific for several issues and sometimes it's pretty bad for several issues. My interest in the series is constantly going up and down.

At this point, it is so close to the end that I'd wait for the conclusion before deciding to pick it up or not. There are so many different plot threads and characters in this book that most Batman fans are bound to find something they enjoy and something they don't enjoy. The main plot, that centers around a conspiracy, has been built up to the point that how it concludes is either going to make or break the series.
