Is Avengers 2 the best superhero movie of all time?

I haven't seen the movie yet, however how does it stand against other Marvel or DC movies? Is it the best, or just above average?

How high should my expectations be?

Doesn't beat WS,DOFP or the TDK.

I actually like it more. But that doesn't mean it's better. I'm conflicted lol.

To me, they seem more than superhero just movies. They go beyond the standard CBM movies.

I liked it better than the first Avengers, but V for Vendetta is the best cbm! :)

I found it on the same level as Avengers.

It's not the best. The best is still Batman TDK and Captain America WS. BUT, it is in my top 3 favorite CBM.

Way better than the first Avengers. Worse villain (Loki>>>>>>>Ultron) but much better action and more balanced writing for the team members overall.

The Dark Knight Rises is pure garbage though. The first two Nolan Batman movies were definitely better.

Just saw it. No. Ultron wasn't a good villain

Not even close. Rushed pacing, major themes and plot points were barely touched upon (Ultrons hatred of humans, his similarities to Stark, Ultron being necessary for world security, BW and Hulk being monsters romance added nothing), and just an average plot. The movie was funny, had the best action scenes, and was amazingly enjoyable and entertaining. But it fell flat in a lot of areas due to rushing and not taking its time to develop itself. Movie could have been a lot better if Whedon didn't cut so many scenes, or if he cut the right ones.

It's amazing how much more money AOU will make compared to the superior Movies like DOFP but it was good.

To me it is the best CBM of all time it is slightly better than avengers and ironman 1

It could have been a perfect movie if it wasn't such a joke and was more serious. Still was a lot of fun.
