Black Manta and Aquaman in the new 52 was just, mmmmm. The dynamic between those two is majestic.

A hero is only as good as his villains. And the Aqua rogues have been getting more depth and character than ever before.

Black Manta has already succeeded in killing two of Arthur's friends. In one arc.

In the middle.

aquaman is more powerful than the majority of his enemies. Black Manta and Ocean Master are dope though

Not more badass than Black Manta

Black Manta is pretty badass. The New 52 has really rejuvenated him.

I still say he is easily the most underrated villain DC has. Seriously, how many other villains have successfully killed a hero's son? A death that has stayed permanent. He was an infant too.

Manta's interactions with Captain Cold in Forever Evil were pretty hilarious too.

BM: "You gun is useless. It will make them numb. I do not want them to be numb"

CC: "You're way too intense"
