Over the years Some villains have gotten the upper hand on Batman knocking him out and what not. The Court of Owls did it... and that greatly contributed to the overall story the maze/labyrinth... was he worthy as a talon etc. But in other stories most recently Detective Comics 14 he gets knocked out by the Gas... Ogilvy comes in and says "It isn't his time" First of all He Could have Killed Batman! all of his future problems as a criminal in Gotham would probably have been solved etc He didn't even kidnap him... he just left him there. My question then is this, Why write in a situation of Batman Getting Incapacitated if we know he won't get killed off or some dilemma comes from it? Especially if a criminal makes an idiotic excuse.
