In which issue of Alpha Flight did Vindicator explode?

I had this issue like 20 years ago and I am trying to find it again.
So in which issue did his suit got damaged and led to the explosion?
Moreover, is there a newer version of that issue?

As far as I know, there hasn't been a reprint or TPB.

If there is something Marvel has failed to do, it's to place Alpha Flight's stories into an omnibus or Masterwork collection. I'm surprised they haven't, considering how long running and influential Alpha Flight has been. It might be my Canadiana talking, haha, but really, I would love to get my hands on one edition of at least their first run.
