In The Golden Age of CBM's Which Female Superheroeine will be No.1

Though Black Widow is the most popular one right now I think Wonder Woman could take her place if her movie is good and she has a large role in the Justice League films.

Harley is continuing to grow in popularity and she's the easiest to cosplay, so I pick her. I also believe she will continue to edge away from straight villainy towards anti-heroism and occasional selfless heroics. She may already be doing this as I haven't taken the time yet to read the new P.G. & Harley book. She will definitely survive the Suicide Squad movie and looks to be the breakout star of that film next year. I would be surprised to here talk of a solo feature for her soon after.

Wonder Woman is the only answer.

Right now BW is on top. This is indisputable.

1. Harley Quinn -- Dudes love Margot and sexy badasses. Combine those two, and boom!
2. Wonder Woman -- She's f*ckin Wonder Woman
3. Captain Marvel -- The MCU dropped the ball with BW, so I feel like they'll put extra care into CM
4. Jean Grey -- Played by Sansa...she'll be popular because of that alone
5. Storm -- It looks like the X-Men films will finally make her the badass she is in the comics
6. Katana -- She looks cool
7. Invincible Woman -- Maybe F4 will surprise us?
8. Black Widow -- She's only on the top now because she has no competition :/
9. Gamora -- Forgettable :/
10. Wasp -- lol
11. Mystique -- I don't know anybody who really likes J. Laws Mystique. Rebecca Romijn Mystique may not have said much but at least she was awesome.

Hopefully Wonder Woman. This Black Widow hype needs to die fast.

Harley Quinn appeals most the casual audience these days with her anti-hero portrayal and badass attitude. She will pretty easily shoot to the top if SS is a success (it will be) and Margot plays her well (seems like it so far).

Although a lot of people will like Harley you have to remember she's not as relatable because she's batshit crazy. I think Captain Marvel has a good chance to be the most popular among women because Marvel is the best at appealing to a large and varied audience, and because of this I think she has a good chance of beating Woman Woman in this regard.

Why isn't Scarlet Witch part of this poll?

We can sitll always point towards the fact that Wonder Woman is going to be the first of the actual heroes to have a solo-movie instead of just being a part of a team.

I just think they focus way too much on her and for some reason, she's just not intimidating to me at all. And while I really like J Law, something about her face in that makeup, especially in first class, just rubs me the wrong way.

@buttersdaman000: maybe. But who knows Hope got a good response in Ant-Man and Wasp's scene was really good so who knows. But I agree if Wonder Woman, Harley, Invisible Woman, Storm etc deliver then Wasp doesn't stand a chance.

Yeah, she was pretty decent in Ant-Man but I still don't see her gaining so much popularity as to overtake characters who are decently popular even without films. And honestly, the very nature of her powers is gonna hold hold her back a bit too -- like, shrinking will never be as cool as lightning, super strength, TK and so on, ya know?

Harley Quinn or Wonder Woman. Its not the character's popularity in comics that matters, its how they are portrayed in the movie. Wonder Woman doesn't simply win because she is wonder woman.

Hopefully Wonder Woman can steal the title but for now I vote Black Widow.
