Don't Take This Too Seriously
If Zack Snyder Directed The Avengers
Actually really cool.
It would actually take it's self serious.
Not eating Shawarma while injured people are still trapped under building debris, and dead bodies are scattered around Manhattan.
Better than the movie

Cause kissing Lois Lane and smile at a destroyed city is so appropriate? (I loved MOS), but seriously are we saying Synder is better than Whedon? I will say though he would bring a lot of good things to a Marvel movie, but he's far from perfect.
@lukehero: I definitely say he's better than Whedon.

This. I like MoS as well, but there was plenty 'wrong' about the movie.
Marvel is doing just great, and Whedon is doing a really good job with the Avengers.
@granitesoldier: Whedon did a good job, but I am glad he is leaving. Russos >>>>>Whedon.

I.........actually agree with you 100%.
Which sucks, because I really wanted to argue.
@legacy6364: I can and will when I get on a computer
@lukehero: that I agree with. I'm actually stoked for Infinity Wars directed by those dudes.
@saintwildcard: I'm honestly more excited about Civil War.
@lukehero: I'm excited for that too. I hope it actually has some impact instead of ending on a happy note
@saintwildcard: Seeing how Cap 2 was a major shake up for the MCU, I'm expecting something similar. Although this one is going to have a lot more characters. I'm guessing this film will be allowed to have a longer running time(due to Spiderman). Also the Russo's don't do things that Whedon is guilty of like force in romance plots. Even though I did think the Natasha/Banner romance was "cute" and probably beloved by the majority of female audience. It's screen time he could have used to further the narrative of Ultron, or more fights.
@saintwildcard: @lukehero: I think Whedon is pretty overrated personally. He's great at certain things, but kind of mediocre at others. Some people treat him like a God and he's only directed 2 movies. I definitely wouldn't say Synder is better than him, because that's up to whoever. That being said, I enjoyed Watchmen/300 more than either Avengers film.
Better than the movie

I knew someone would say that.
0/10 for originality.
@dum529001: i lol'd 10/10.
Lol, cool but would of been better without the music.
Loki actually feels like a threat
Whedon did a good job, but I am glad he is leaving. Russos >>>>>Whedon.
@eyedcyou: He did an amazing job with Buffy and Angel, but he is still guilty of using things like love triangles and forced romance moments in his stories. I think he is giving a lot of due credit for doing something that has never been done before which is help bring a bunch of characters together from different movies and put them together in one story. Once JL gets off the ground, then we will have something to compare it to.
@dum529001: So changing the music and editing makes them emo?

People seems to forget Buffy was a CW show.
@lukehero: Actually it was a WB show. CW didn't exist.

Snyder has always been a better filmmaker than Whedon.
Also, kissing after a battle is more of a trope than anything. Basically any action movie is guilty of this lol
@eyedcyou: Here's the problem shows that were pre Internet Boom(2004/2005 the years Facebook & Youtube launched) and highspeed internet became widely available around the same time. Anyway those older shows were not under the constant pressure of being rated and criticized massively like the TV shows of today are. If Whedon tried to pull many of the mistakes he made with Buffy & Angel today, the internet would crush him for it. Which you can tell he isn't used to, which is why he fell under the pressure and quit twitter.
The TV Shows of today are under much more pressure from week to week because as they are filming and shooting they are getting immediate feed back from the fans and the executives are watching a lot more closely to that feedback.
@guardiandevil83: Eh its the same they just renamed the channel when they partnered with CBS
