If you could have one superhero to be real, who would it be?

I'd probably choose Batman. His intelligence would probably make a big impact on society. Science would also be revolutionized. Then again, if we had someone like Superman, he could help us explore the Universe.

Forget Batman we need a god like figure to shut everything down in case someone or some country gets out of line so Superman

Silver Surfer. Can heal. Can create stuff. Can explore. Doesn't age. Moves faster than light so he can be anywhere you need him to in a hurry.

Batman, we need to be able to defend ourselves if said superhero went out of control, Superman could destroy any military if he went blood lusted. Also Batman's no kill code is damn near unbreakable.

I wouldn't choose Superman since he's so strong that he could accidentally destroy the city plus anyone can beat him with kryptonite. So maybe Silver Surfer or Batman

Superman easily.

Captain America, I just can't be comfortable with Superman flying around. Captain America is just another soldier.

Power Girl.

Cap, Superman, or Flash, although I'm leaning more towards Flash. He could basicaly create a crimeless city like in Kingdom Come.
