It would represent hunger, and the corps would be called the Glutton Corps.

What about a ring that has the powers of the meteorite from 'The Colour Out Of Space'? Drains the life and colour from its' surroundings, poisons crops, drives people insane. The only problem is that the colour of it is nothing like anything on the colour spectrum that we are familiar with, so it would be pretty much impossible to draw such a thing.

Edited: Unless the comic was drawn in black and white, so that the colour could be left up to the readers imagination, though it's probably impossible to imagine a color that we aren't already familiar with. My point is there wouldn't be any way of showing it in its' true colour, so making the whole thing black and white would probably be the only way of doing it.

@v_scarlotte_rose: What if we see it trough different peoples eyes and see what they imagine the color is? Some people think of red as the color of love, some think of it as rage or hate. Some think of white as a color of clean, some think of it as emptiness.

I'm not sure. It's supposed to be that the colour is nothing like any colour any human has ever seen, so different people may view it differently, but it would still be unfamiliar.

Also aren't clean and empty kind of the same thing? As in, they're both describing a lack of things.

Sure. Dude kills thousands of bad guys because they killed his family. If the Red Lanterns didn't get him, the Justice Corps would. He's more than shown he believes his cause is righteous.

@jonsmith: Red would never work, he would slaughter them for the innocent people they had killed in blind rage. But then again... Frank Castle, the last red lantern. That would be Awesome.
