If Marvel & DC Where Wiped Off The Face Of The E

So now you've had to drop all Marvel/DC books, what books from other publishers would you pick up to fill the void?

Valiant,Image & Dynamite.

Many Dynamite series like The Spider, Masks etc. Probably try out some Valiant comics

I'd still be reading mostly Manga.

There are only a few western comics on my pull list atm.

None. I would stay in my room and imagine reading Marvel/DC comics.

I would read a lot more Valiant, mixing in some Image and Dark Horse. Perhaps give IDW another try. All that being said, there's plenty of great books out there and the existence of Marvel and DC shouldn't keep you from discovering them.

IDW and Dark Horse because of TMNT and Star Wars respectively along with some Image titles.

There's already enough comics companies to take Marvel and DC's place. If those two don't watch it they might get taken over by the other companies. The new 52 and Marvel Now fiasco hurt them.

TMNT and Hellboy is all that i've ever read asides from Marvel and DC. I guess i would start reading something new like valiant and dark horse comics. (don't know a single comic title for either of these guys)

Valiant. I would buy everything that is Valiant.

Other than that, Luther Strode and maybe pick up Invincible again. Also might start reading the Walking Dead. (Image)

I'd likely start reading Star Wars comics. (Dark Horse)

So, Valiant, Image, Dark Horse and IDW. I'm already having a hard time not dropping everything Marvel from my pull list to be honest. Don't even read DC.

Here's a question: Who would be top dog without DC and Marvel taking up the limelight? Image is a good contender but it's closer between the indy companies.

I guess so. I mean it was the first non DC or Marvel comic book company to gain traction not to mention prioritizing the creative freedom and control of the writers and artists on their projects.

I buy trades so I don't really bother with this. I buy american style comics, European style and manga.

There are 50+ years of dc comics I can read. Guess I'd have to go back to the older ones if no more new Dc comics came out.
