Title says it all. What do you think?

I don't necessarily think so but a friend of mine argues that console gaming that appeals to casual gamers is hurting the market for gamers that are dedicated to the hobby. He sites that games like Rainbow six have been broken down to easy run&guns and that consoles are the cause. Well, that's a bare bones version of his argument but I think you get the gist.

No, there's plenty of bad games released on PC. Just look at all the broken and crap games on Steam.

Rainbow Six becoming more 'casual' doesn't mean it's decreased in quality.
