Idea for a good action show to stay on air

I just realised something, if networks are so hung on merchadising then why don't they make a game app for said show, think about kids today don't really play with toys anyway and most of the audience are teens and adults. Also CN made game apps for Adventure Time and Regular Show so why could't they do it for their action shows, apps are cheap to buy and to make

they should just make a super hero show with their own original heroes and ask for the audience for some input. then sell toys for said characters and maybe even hollywood movies

Yeah. But, I like toys... Toys like Gundam robots or Sentai mechs are the bomb for me at least.
