I want to read some Thanos

I wanted to get some knowledge on Thanos and need some help. I'm planning on reading the infinity gauntlet, infinity, and infinity revelation. Will this be enough to get a basic hold on his character and his love of Death? Or are there other essential stories? I don't want to read a crapload of Thanos stories i just want a few great ones. Thanks!

I really enjoyed Jason Aaron's "Thanos Rising". I thought that was well down. Gives the back story of Thanos' disturbed child hood. "Thanos Quest" is probably a must and I suppose the 12 issue "Thanos". "Infinity Abyss" is another good story. If you want old school, you can read "Avengers vs Thanos" on Comixology.

Sorry. I suppose I'm not much help at narrowing down. Thanos Quest is probably the best introductory story.

My brother has like a gigantic Thanos collection and happens to be a big fan of him. Based on what I understand from his conversation , and the suggestion things comes quite often reading the Infinity trilogy , even then only the core titles + Thanos quest would give you more than sufficient detail about him.

Thanos Rising would be a bonus as would be a short story called I, Thanos.
