Here's how it works; just like RIKR2's "I like this character more then that one" thread, but instead of characters it's comicbook issues! It doesn't have to be your favorite issue just the one you like more then the one that's been posted above you.

Only rule is to post a picture with the issue's name or issue number.

Let's get this ball rolling!

Captain America # 25 :The death of a dream.

Ooh, even though I'm a Cap fan, I still haven't got round to reading that issue yet (I know, I'm ashamed). The Death of Cap Vol. 1 TPB is quite hard to find.

Dark Avengers #1 - Assemble

Dark Avengers is a surprisingly good book. I think it's the only Avengers-related book by Bendis I've ever enjoyed. This first issue especially had some of the best pacing in a Bendis book ever.

I simply love Geoff Johns, so it was nice to see him make people finally respect Aquaman with this first issue of what has so far been an epic series.

Thunderbolts (marvel now)

#9 Posted by Kairan1979 (16723 posts) - - Show Bio

I'm on the fence about new version of Thunderbolts. I preferred the version introduced in Thunderbolts 110.

This one was fun.

@kairan1979 Oh, was Warren Ellis' run good? I'm contemplating picking up his entire run in TPB form because many seem to love it.

Gotta admit, this was an exciting time to be a Batman fan.

@veshark:

Damien is my least favorite Robin (tied in the last place with Stephanie Brown).

Urban Myths is my favorire Pilot Season trailer; too bad it was never made into series.

@kairan1979 I'm ambivalent towards Damian; I don't mind him, but I don't like him either. Still, Batman & Robin was an exciting time to be a Batfan, what with the changing status quo and all.

The start of a fun and informative romp through Marvel's Golden Age history. Reads like a textbook, and while some don't enjoy that, I most certainly did. Also, gorgeous Epting art!

Sorry I don't know how to make it bigger, it is already on large... Anyway Amazing Spider-Man 533 Civil War.

@mortium: Spider-Man Unmasking? Everybody with half of a brain can see it can't end good. Not to mention Unmasking led to OMD.

@kairan1979: Yeah, it pretty much made Peter's, not to mention MJ and Aunt May's, life a disaster. Jameson even sued him. But I like the issue because it shows a lot of Peter's character strengths and weaknesses. Plus, Iron Man vs Iron Spider, and it was cool that Peter hacked the armor.

@jldoom: I liked New Frontier. But there are a lot of Elseworlds I like more.

Can't argue with that.

X-Men : Deadly Genesis.

I was delighted to see Professor's true face - the illusion of his sainthood finally shattered even in the eyes of his own X-Men.

I was disappointed by post-Flashpoint Green Arrow.

Longbow Hunters - the best Green Arrow comic book, in my opinion.

I was disappointed by post-Flashpoint Green Arrow.

Just skip to issue 17 - Lemire is absolutely owning.
