Is Easter a big deal in the Marvel Universe?

I ask because the whole point of Easter is to celebrate Jesus rising from the dead but in Marvel something like that happens every other Wednesday, so would anyone even be impressed by it at this point?

Have they ever even mentioned Easter in one of their comics?

@transformers1024: I honestly can't recall any time when it has been mentioned. I think there have been times characters have referenced the Easter Bunny tho. That's kind of why I asked.

This is true. Spider-Man made a reference about the Easter bunny when he was fighting White Rabbit, but for the actual day I don't recall it ever being observed.

@humanrocket: The X-Men alone are probably getting pretty ambivalent to the concept of resurrection, I think half the members have died at least once.

Maybe Easter is a holiday of being thankful for all those who have come back?

I honestly wonder how religion still exists in comics, especially when you've got so many different Gods from various mythologies running about.

That's a good question. I don't recall Easter being brought up or celebrated in Marvel either, at least not in main titles.

Not many people still remember that about Easter. Now it's just bunnies (the long-eared kind, not the sexy kind) and chocolate.
