As @aros001 has already stated, Jocelyn The Intern is a joke character and isn't actually involved with the research process at all. In fact, she's an actor/voice actor called Lisa Foiles who voices Jocelyn in those videos. I doubt a professional voice actor is involved in researching feats and scans for a fictional character match up Internet series.

So essentially you have to direct your vitriol and vinegar at Ben, Chad and other guys behind the scenes of Death Battle's research. Besides, I'm pretty sure that Ben is usually essential on putting the research for the characters together and he helped create Goku's 'Gravity Formula' for DB's first calculations. Which inaccurate as they were seemed like academic research when compared to the second Death Battle's attempt at research.
