Welcome to Hulk Reviews. Today, Hulk Review Iron Man 3. Before Hulk begin, Hulk want to warn that there will be spoilers, so if you have not seen the movie and hate spoilers, DO NOT READ THIS! If you don't mind or have seen the movie, keep reading.
Hulk will tell the plot now.
Iron Man is going through a tough time after the events of The Avengers. He can't sleep and is having anxiety issues. Then a villain named The Mandarin, which at first is believed to be a man that looks like Osama Bin Laden's less secretive cousin. But the Mandarin is actually not that guy, it's a man named Killian, who is creating a genetic upgrade called Extremis. One side effect: It causes people who have it to overheat and explode, similar with Burning Godzilla in Godzilla vs Destoroyah.
Anyways, Killian kidnaps Pepper Potts and injects her with Extremis. Then, Iron Man arrives with every Iron Man suit he ever made, and they fight, and Pepper seems to die, but doesn't. She kills Killian and they live happily ever after.
Hulk thought this movie was pretty good. Hulk do wish there were more Iron Man action. Most of it is just Tony Stark traveling the country. But, the Iron Man action that IS there is great and very well done in Hulk's opinion. The acting is good, and the surprising plot twist where the bearded turns out to not be the real Mandarin, and Iron Patriot's involvement was epic.
But one thing Hulk doesn't understand. At the end, Pepper gets the Extremis that gives her superpowers removed from her body. What? WHY?! Why would Pepper pass up such an opprotunity? Think of the good she could've done if she still had those superpowers. She could've fought big-time supervillains and save people. She could've become an Avenger if she kept the Extremis. Hulk think she should've kept the Extremis in her body so she can fight crime. That what Hulk would've done if Hulk were Pepper.
But overall, Hulk liked the movie, it was confusing at times, but was a lot of fun.
7/10.
