So, as I sit here with my plot for a comic series growing, and then shrinking as I adjust things, I got into thinking about Skyfather-level characters.

While we don't encounter too many, we are aware of their existence, and in case of the more malevolent ones, how in the hell does our little mud ball of a planet survive? I know there's a wide variety, but gathering all of this, what's your take on Earth's capability to survive? What themes can you draw from this? What life lessons can you learn? What do you think is the most common weakness of a Skyfather?

If you're a street level character, the answer is writer bias.
