Tell me what you guys think:
How the Amazing Spider-man Movie Franchise can improve?
I say it needs to find it's own voice, the last film felt like it was created from pure focus testing, tt felt completely derailed, and I never felt any investment.
Put heart in making the movies. That's the most important part in any movie. You need to truly try. You need to love what you're doing and put real effort in it, instead of making excusing like "Oh, we're building a universe!" or "Oh, we're going to explain that in the sequels!"
I want Marc Webb to stop trying to please everyone and just tell the story he wants to tell. I want them to just make the best film possible and worry about sequels when they get to them. Drop the parent garbage and develop a great villain.
I love the franchise, much more than Raimi's but to me, it suffers from bad villains, that's it's worse problem. The villains are kind of generic and boring, which is a shame, because Spidey has the best villains in Marvel. I think they're trying to change this with Sinister Six and Venom, so I have high hopes.
To me, everything else is great, Garfield is an amazing Spider-Man (better than Maguire by far), Gwen was great, as was Harry and Aunt May. It has good humor and effects. I think the films get a bum rap sometimes.
It's so bad that it's impossible to improve.
Some things, you chust can't change.
They should reboot it again and make a new trilogy :)
I'm kind of with you there. I've never seen a movie franchise dig its own grave so quickly.
Sony is just phoning it in at this point. They pretty much said F-it. It's a win win for them. As long as they make Spider-Man movies they get to keep the rights, and as long as the big superhero trend last they are making the money.......... They can put "Marvel's Spider-Man" on anything right now and that $#!% will sell...... They don't care......
