How strong would a half Saiyan half Kryptonian hybrid be

And how would it fare against other villains or Heros from the dc and marvel verse ? Would the hybrid have a easy time or a hard time? Explain

It would most likely be infertile and suffer from multiple genetic diseases if the normal trend of animal hybrids IRL applies

Kryptonians don't use Ki, so it wouldn't likely be any stronger than a normal Kryptonian. Unless it trained under a red sun with King Kai, or somebody.

It probably wouldn't be as powerful as you might think. Sure it'd have the natural Krytonian powers but remember, Saiyans like Goku, Vegeta, and Gohan had to go through incredible amounts of training to get to the level they're at. Sure, Super Saiyan is basically a level up button for them, but they needed to go through a lot to get it. So while the Saiyan DNA would make the kid a natural warrior, it wouldn't come into play that often powers wise because the kid wouldn't be able to go through the steps needed to become Super Saiyan. In DBZ, the characters became Super Saiyan and the levels beyond it because they hit walls they couldn't overcome otherwise unless they surpassed their limits. And it's very hard to overcome limits when the Krytonian powers nearly remove all limits.

Strong as f-ck but fairly easy to defeat if you understand his/her physiology. Still has the vulnerability to kryptonite and red sun radiation. Add in the inherent pride and arrogance Saiyans tend to narturally have and this guy would lose in no time at all.

If someone managed to do a red sun solar flare repeatedly they would be effed :P

Shame how a lot of people forget saiyan babies are sent as newborns to destroy freakin planets. People just hop in and say he would be weak then proceed to post random BS on why their made up facts are facts. The truth is saiyan babies are born strong a kryptonian babie would have to absorb sun power to get to wear superman is. Basicly its this. He would be born a normal powered babies. He if recive the kind of training goku did and train under the sun everyday he be a god.

Kryptonian genes are probally dominate to sayin genes. So i doubt his base will be stronger than a kryptonian. Super sayin is hacks so its will probally be somthing akin to red lantern kara.

Every thing about saiyans has to be adapted for survival and fighting this goes to their genes. Kryptonians are only strong if a certain sun is present. Saiyans are born warrior. But sayains with their so called superiority got killed by destroying there planet. Goku is way stronger than the average sayin. Gohan is probably the strongest and he is a half bread. So yea kryptonian dna is dominate if it does not blow through like a shotgun.

@sacredweapons: To be fair, the OP didn't say they'd necessarily be under a yellow sun... also Kryptonians we're pretty much wiped out by having their planet blown up too... Kinda unfair to only point out Planet Vagita's fall. I'd have to agree that Saiyan DNA would be dominant, Saiyans are powerful anywhere that supports life, Kryptonians are only powerful under a yellow sun.

This might be pushing it, but I believe that if a baby saiyan had been sent to Krypton they'd be destroyed.

I guess that depends on the Saiyan and where they were raised. DBZ Canon is a little tricky for me, but Vegetas' brother from the Yo Son Goku movie was a gentle kid. His own father and Vegeta told Tarble he wasn't fit to be a warrior. Likewise, Goku was raised as a human baby, and so grew up a pretty nice guy, but also retained his fighting ability because he trained at it constantly. Not to mention, there is the chance that his psychology/status could play into things, like you noted. Lower-Class Warriors are likely more driven, like Bardock, to prove themselves. Elites like Nappa are strong, but seem pretty lazy, though Vegeta seems an exception. Plus, there is the chance for Legendary Super Saiyan status, which would already make him pretty powerful as a baby.

So, depending, you really only need to worry about Kryptonite. And then that's assuming we're not in the Earth-2 Universe, since then (not sure if this is changed,) only Kryptonite from the Earth-2 Universe will harm him. Or if he's from Earth-3 he'd either need Kryptonite to maintain his energy (and have to have somehow blocked out the Sun,) or you'd need Blue Kryptonite.

Honestly, there are a lot of factors to take into account, but to say it's an easy win? I don't think so...depending.

@scouterv: We just have to assume it's the mainstream DC Earth since there was no specifically stated one. Kryptonite will make it an easy win. That isn't even up for debate, unless Saiyan DNA negates the weakness, but that leads into a mess of op characters with no real weaknesses. You seem very knowledgeable about DBZ so you know they have a tendency to dick around when they should finish things. Even Goku has shown that tendency. Now if the mother-cker is dead serious (a la Goku when Frieza killed Krillin) get right with your maker lol.

Here is some food for thought, imagine a sun dipped Great Ape.

The hybrid would be very powerful but it still has no defense against tp, or any of the ways a normal sayian/kryptonian would lose.

@oscuro: I see your point. I'm a big Superman guy though, so I gotta say this. If ya ever think Kryptonite is an auto-win vs. a Kryptonian, you may want to speak to Lex Luthor beforehand. It makes it easier, but then again, I gotta think Heat Vision makes things even easier for the Kryptonian.

There's nothing really suggesting Dragonball characters don't have resistance to telepathy, especially considering many of them can use telepathy to communicate with others e.g. Goku, Roshi, King Kai, Piccolo etc

Vegeta also resisted Babidis mind control.

I think you are right on that. Its first super saiyan transformation will be so hard to achieve and will roughly be equal to super saiyan jin 4. Kryptonians strenghth, durability and resilience will make evaluation and progress really hard to follow or trace. But if training is taken to extreme levels such as far from a yellow or blue sun and closer to a red sun then it should pay off. Taking from the fact that half breeds are as strong as full breeds then the half saiyan half kryptonian will be incredibly powerfull. He will be able to tap at will either from his internal ki or from an endless supply of solar energy around. I see him being a threat to the DBZ verse if he is evil and continues training hard like Goku and Vegeta.

The only way it would be beneficial for the kryptonian is if he/she has the ability to become more powerful with every fight. Couple that with the sun and you'd have a potential beast.

Saiyan blood would make it pretty weak.

Saiyans are an inferior species, there would be no benefit.
