how smart is the hulk?

I have a question. is the current hulk as smart as banner. it's hard for me to keep up. I loved it a few years ago when banner was strong even without turning into the hulk. Also, can u guys tell me what happened to that? I know i have a lot of questions. here are just one more. is the hulk on the agents of smash the same one as the avengers. i know he is the same character, but are they in the same continuity. on the agents of smash the hulk talks normal and is smarter. on the avengers he is not as dumb as mindless hulk, but he still seems kind of dumb. he talks like a kid on the avengers. he says stuff like hulk is mad and other crap like that.

@theacidskull: in agents of smash he talks in complete sentences, though. he is a leader and seems to have all the intellect of banner. in the avengers he refers to himself in the 3rd person like a 3 or 4 year old.
