How fast are HST top tiers?

@xlab3000: This should be in General Discussion
@homicidalmaniac: @fallschirmjager: @thatguywithheadphones My bad I forgot to put it into the General Discussion forum.
@thatguywithheadphones: @the_legendary_supersaiyan_hulk: In the OBD they have naruto characters crossing jupiter sized countries at massive hypersonic speed lol.

The ObD, is...a joke really.
Naruto top tiers are around the bottom of hypersonic IMO. They don't actually do that many impressive things outside of dodging lightning. Raikage was the fastest, and I'd put him slightly above hypersonic honestly. Minato's speed would be infinite due to teleportation powers.
One piece varies greatly. Obviously, Kizaru is Light speed, with him actually being light and all. Akainu and Aokiji are IMO slower than Gear second Luffy, but honstly not by a huge margin. Aokiji was part of the CP9, so he should be fairly fast, and Akainu should be the slowest, but is still capable of tagging quicker people.
Bleach characters are all massively hypersonic in terms of attacking IMO. I'd put them at between mach 10 and mach 20.
@xlab3000: Yeah you gotta be careful with those forums.
A guy called "Nevermind" has done some good calcs on Bastard!, Sailor moon, Seiya and Tenchi though. So its not all useless.
Its really not that hard. All you need is a distance traveled and time spent traveling to calc speed.

Yeah the Bastard! calcs are good. They use pixel scaling.
@xlab3000: Don't really need that really. Bastard speed is fairly straight forward.
Here is the guy I'm talking about though, you can search his blogs to see if he has done any HST calcs - I'm too lazy =P
Tenchi - http://www.narutoforums.com/blog.php?b=15345
Sailor Moon - http://www.narutoforums.com/blog.php?b=14992

I know Nevermind.
HST overall speed IMO
Bleach > Naruto > One Piece
How are Naruto characters than One Piece characters? Just asking because based on what I've seen OP>Naurto(in the anime)
@xlab3000: People like the Second and Fourth Hokage, The Raikage, Rock Lee, Sasuke, Guy, Kakashi, Hashirama, Naruto himself.
But do correct me if I'm wrong.
@xlab3000: good calcs from that dude.
Anyway I agree Bleach is the fastest.
Luffy with gears should be faster than anyone in Naruto, but most Naruto chars are probably faster than OP.
And that doesn't count Teleportation-like abilities like Minato or Sub Jutsu. That isn't speed, its TP. People confuse those things way too much.
It's impossible to really tell.
The only characters I can think of with possible quantifiable speeds are Kizaru being lightspeed, but that's only with Yata no Kagami and [Gated] Gai and Sanji being in the Mach 5-10 range because they can ignite the air with speed alone. And of course there are characters with instant teleportation, but that's not really speed and they usually rely on some sort of preparatory factors to teleport.
OP characters should be faster than Naruto Characters.

To me Bleach>=OP in speed. Agreed. What Naruto characters are faster than the ones in OP?

I don't think Kizaru is lightspeed going off of the anime he looks supersonic-hypersonic.
@xlab3000: lol. i wish you would have had this discussion with me a few years ago when i still read Naruto, bleach and op.
@princearagorn1 probably is one of the best/better knowledgable persons on it
I'll be honest despite what many think IMO they're all equal, since they all do the same unquantifiable feats or unlabeled feats with a few exception.

I highly doubt Kizaru is light speed. He isn't shown to be anywhere near that speed from what I've seen.
@xlab3000: His travel is, his regular movements are not (kicks and punches), I should've clarified, sorry.

Nothing is wrong dude. His travel doesn't look light. I watched some of the videos on the Triple threat admiral thread. I watched his travel speed and didn't look nowhere close to light. I watched some of the marineford battle and didn't see light speed movement.
@xlab3000: I think Marine Ford and his initial appearances were pretty good showings. They showed basically everyone else standing still compared to him jumping around.

I didn't know everyone was standing still tbh.
@fallschirmjager: What about Brohan's cals?
@xlab3000: links?
@xlab3000: which ones specifically are you asking about?
right off the bat i will say pixel scaling is guesswork at best.
moreover, on the Shinra Tensei...he just randomally assumed the frogs weight 100,000 tons without any evidence.
@fallschirmjager: Pains shinra tensei
@xlab3000: i mean the math looks fine, but just straight up saying "yeah the frogs are 100,000 tons"
wut
@fallschirmjager: let me check the calcs for the frogs
@fallschirmjager: I saw the calc before but I can't find it(well not right now).
Hst speeds, like most manga, can be taken in two ways. One with reasonable calcs (no idiotic off-the charts speeds, like a mach 120 lucci, or a mach 500 stark) or the other, ignoring the over-mach-implications, and putting them on speed levels they regularly show.
The problem with the calcs is, they have as much evidence supporting the line of speed, as much dismissing them. The difference becomes apparent when you look at some other manga who take the speeds seriously. (seiya's mach 1 punches, and hsdk supersonic clashes, are both a lot more convincing)
But, I'd say these character's combat speed is enough to blitz people from hundreds of meters at the very least.
Overall, the speeds go bleach > naruto > op.
Specially when talking about top tiers, ichigo's speed feats are a really serious matter, even without the boost he just received. Luffy's gear second reminded how awesome speed was, so people took him as the fastest protagonist for a while. Then came sage, kcm, and bijju modes, making naruto a contestant, too.
But overall, I'd say currently, luffy<naruto<ichigo in speed.

Agreed.
@princearagorn1: you speak of hsdk speeds? I'd love to see some calcs on that lol I always thought bit was a bit vague when it came to the masters of Ryozanpaku...especially grandpa fuurinji. I mean at one point in the manga they all literally travel straight up before jetting forward like a dbz character
@thelocust619: Yeah, they are at least above mach 1 in speed, it was stated at least twice. I plan to re read the manga after a while, I'll tell you when I do :p
@princearagorn1: word....its definitely gotten a bit smuttier than earlier volumes but the core premise is still strong.
