How do you feel about Shazam movie...

Being a split origin movie for Shazam and Black Adam?

Me personally I love it because it adds a lot to the villain. That's what made Loki such a great villain, we saw the build up to what made him the way he is.

No disrespect to MCU because I love it, but I hope DCCU have good villains they've had a very good start with Zod & Faora hope they keep it up with Lex and the Suicide Squad.

"Shazam" will be a movie about the origins of Black Adam, there will be no Cap.Marvel

I don't care about the plot of the movie, really, as long as Billy isn't the New 52 version. I don't have problems with 'modernizing' him, and I'm fine with people liking that one, but I prefer the original. Also, no neck snapping!

Wont Shazam be kind of rehash of Man of Steel. Captain Marvel is essentially Superman with magical powers added.

@kfabz-23: I am so excited for this movie. Int eh DCU Shazam is my fav. love that he is a kid that becomes a God! my childhood dream lol. I think this is the perfect time for a Shazam movie!

When it was first announced I didn't care much but I'm starting to see real potential in it delivering something different. Hoping for some amazing epic visuals.

I really want an Ancient Egyptian scene with some Hawkman easter eggs! :)

If you look closely at history its the other way around. Superman came from being a Gladiator (Novel) to a Captain Marvel without magic powers kind of character. Now this said i could understand how the media attention of today could react badly to a CM film.

Well, thats what I meant. To the everyday audience, to them it will just feel like another MOS. Just take a away heat vision and his sensory abilities and you have superman.
