Spiderman should have the Wall clinging ability, yet he doesn't have it. How do I give it to him? cause as a comic geek this just sooooo wrong. lol
How do we give a character a new power?
tyger_raven says:
"If the power is created, then you can edit the main Spider-Man page. Scroll down until you get to the powers section (on the right hand side), then it'll say add power. From there you click to add a power and then scroll in the menu until you get to wall clinging, which is close to the bottom since the powers are alphabetical."Thanks

However, it appears that wall clinging is not a power listed yet, which will mean that the mods are the only ones who can add powers. But, yeah I hear ya. Although with the exception of the spiders, are there many characters that have the wall-clinging ability. Oh, I guess Nightcrawler and Beast would also count. Hmm, what do you say Cap'n C?

Also, if anyone happens to know of any powers that definitely are common enough that they should be on the main powers page lemme know and I'll whip up some new icons.
Scarlet Witch I say maybe falls under magic. Franklin Richards? Psionic? Onslaught? Maybe Godly Powers? All depends on your definition.
What exactly is Godly Powers supposed to represent? Or Psionic as opposed to Psychic? I think a small description of each power would be good, something small enough to be in a tooltip, in case people aren't 100% sure what it means just from the name.
Reality Warping should definitely be included. Scarlet Witch should have Reality Warping and Magic. Franklin Richards should only have Reality Warping, or perhaps Reality Control? Probability Alteration/Control could probably just be considered a limited form of Reality Warping/Control, though.
Telekinesis is misspelled (it says Telekenis on the powers page), and Pyrotechnic would sound better as Fire Control, to go along with Ice Control. A generic Energy Control would also be good, as that would cover Green Lantern, Circe and a few others. Could you add one for Wisecracking? I think that would be awesome.

OMG, we're so adding wisecracking! Good suggestion. We should have descriptions for all powers, but I only got to the first 10 or so (click agility or blast power...etc). If anyone has time to write up descriptions of ones that don't have them yet, please post it here and I'll add it in later today.
I did some descriptions, if you like them I'll do some more. I didn't want to do a lot then find out they were all wrong or something. So tell me what you think of these:
Healing - The ability to heal at an accelerated rate or heal from wounds that would be fatal or would leave a normal person disfigured for life, like being able to regrow limbs and organs.
Ice Control - Generation and shaping of ice.
Immortal - Not being able to die or stay permanently dead.
Implants - Parts of the character were created and then put into their body, they were not born with them. The changes take effect on the physical level but not the genetic level (meaning he/she cannot pass on their implants to their children). The character can be modified organically (better organs, enhanced nervous system), muscularly, given extra parts (such as wings), had changes to the skeleton, be given technological additions (cybernetics), etc. Implants can change the appearance of the person but that's not always the case.
Insaney Rich - The character has a LOT of money. Usually it's so much money that they'll never actually run out so they'll always have enough to do whatever the story calls for. The character can get their money through inheritance, investments, discovery of some valuable new resource or technology, inventions, etc.
Intellect - A character with this power is smarter than normal people, even smarter than the smartest normal(non-powered) people. They are capable of figuring things out and usually build super advanced machines and technologies that (most times) can't actually be explained by modern scientific knowledge. They are the people who build the things that are written about in science fiction books and movies. These characters often are the ones who may not win the first battle against a new opponent, but 2 days later, when the bad guy (or good guy) comes around again, they'll have planned the battle 45 moves in advance and be able to win the fight with ease. Super smart people often have a hard time relating to normal people since they just know so much more.
Invisiblity - The ability to become invisible. This usually works by altering the way light hits them so they can't be seen, so the person is still there and can be heard, touched, smelled (and tasted?), just not seen. Sometimes invisibility can be spread or shared with other people and objects.
My question. Psionic? The only thing I can remember about Psionic is stuff I learned while playing D&D, and from that, I automatically connect Psionics with the power to cause migraines to the DM trying to read a Psionics character sheet.
So what is it? Telepathy & telekenesis combined?

It probably has TP and TK but it should be something more too. I'd say a psionic could form psychic energy into shapes (Moonstar, X-man, Psylocke's psychic knife/katana) or blast it and stuff like that.
I think Psionic should be removed, because at best it is a collection of other powers, rather than its own power. And I always think of fortune tellers and palm readers when I hear Psychic, so maybe it could be changed to Precognition?
A lot of characters have this mysterious psionic power like Psylocke, Cable, Emma Frost, and Vulcan. Mind powers but not necessarily tk or telepathy. We'll need a clearer description.
Either psychic or psionic should be dropped so there's only one. Aren't they pretty much interchangeable anyway? Then whichever one we use, psionic, lets say, would just be psychic powers that don't fall in the category of TP or TK. Things like foretelling, astral projection, clairvoyance, solid psychic shapes, astral plane stuff, etc. Then the only psychic categories we have are TP(communication, empathy, mind control, memory/sense alteration), TK(object moving) and Psionic("other").
My understanding is that 'Psionic" actually MEANS "Mental powers". So, telepathy, telekinesis, pyrokinesis, astral projection (not the magic kind), pre-cognition, technopathy and psychometry. I may have forgotten some.
