How do I enjoy comicvine these days

For those past the 5 year mark, any suggestions? I find the site almost completely unappealing recently...

well what I enjoy most is thinking up how characters could be better with a few creative minds here.

I'm not nearly at five years, but I hope I can help anyway. It happened to me after about 3000 posts.

I just went on a break for a while, then went on and off during my HiatusCrisis for a while whenever I felt like posting, and now I'm finally comfortable enough to be fully on the Vine now.

Off topic board also has a bunch of random stuff every day.

I type at random with my eyes closed. Does wonders for me.

I go on people's profiles and figure out what they're arguing about on the forums.

I'd say, if you don't enjoy it, leave. This site it recreational, if you don't enjoy it, why stay? You can always come back. You can read comics without talking to other people about them.

I don't come on here as much as I used too, not that I've lost interest in the site, many other reasons... One of them is I don't find very many threads that interest me.

The others have nailed it. If it isn't fun, leave it until you miss it.

I'd also suggest getting involved in discussions you are genuinely interested in. If one doesn't exist, create one. I'd be wary of passing time by simply reading every topic out there. That may just enhance your dissatisfaction.

@AssertingValor: I'm having a bit of the same problem. I've had a profile since '09 and find my interest dwindling. Personally, I'm going to checkout Panels.net when it launches.

After almost 6 years, I just come back to post once in a while to voice my opinion on certain matters but mainly for some comic news, previews, etc.

I leave for 7 months, sure i lost the Geits invasion and thing like that, but when i got back i notice the same arz#0l3z were here and i then feel the urge to troll them.
