How did Spider-Man survive a bullet to the head?

I know it happened but I was just curious, what do you guys think, Let me know!

I don't know how he got shot in the head but even in real life it's possible to survive bullet to the head.

Humans have survived shots to the head. Very HUGE chance you won't. So, Peter being superhuman and managing to pull through shouldn't be beyond the realm of possibility.

How big was the entrance/exit wound? What kind of weapon was used? Things like that should also be taken in to account.

@destroyer1: Nope. I've seen bullets go completely through him. Though he ignores it better than most.
