How do you usually know if a specific comic book series is not selling well?

I can tell if a comic book series is not selling well if I go to the discussion boards and nobody talks about that specific comic book. To me, it shows that fans are not that interested in that comic book series, therefore leading it to not do well in the sales.

You know a comic isn't selling well if it doesn't have Batman in it.

Looking at the sales figures is probably a pretty good way of checking. I use Comichron.com

Ask Dan Slott.

I hear he's real up front about that sort of thing.

Or if you start seeing batman on the covers of books that previously never featured him. Usually an indicator of declining sales

In Hawk and Dove's defense, they never really stood a chance with Liefeld on art *shrugs*

Is it something I like? Then it's going to get cancelled soon.

I definitely agree with this! Every time there's a title that's outside of the more controversial events in the comics (Avengers vs. X-men for example) then it's bound to get cancelled, despite how good the story is.
