How AC ROGUE ties to AC UNTY (obvious spoilers)

Ubisoft said the rogue had ties to unity

Here's how

After believing he eradicated the colonial branch of the assassin order, shay travels to Versailles I order to deal with an assassin by the name of Charles. He finds charles and eventually assassinates him. Charles tells him that Connor and his assassins undid shay's work, shay in response, tells him they'll hit start a revolution in France. Now here's the key thing charles surname? Dorian, Charles Dorian.

Shay was the one who killed arno's biological father

But , Elise was Arno's templar father's daughter . I don't think he knew her before being adopted by his templar dad . So , the ending of rogue is kind of contradicting with the story of unity .

What was the work that shay did??

Do you think shay will be the main villain in unity ??

Shay's work was obvious, there's a reason that the assassins were decimated in ac3

I doubt connor will be in unity

Rogue was meant to be the closing chapter in the kenway saga

No , I meant that arno met Elise when he was adopted by his templar dad . In the ending of rogue , arno's father was still alive , and arno was not yet adopted , so this ending contradicts the story of unity .

Rogue is included in the kenway saga because

1) it bridges the gap between ac4 and ac3

2) it explains how the assassins were decimated when Connor showed up

3) I think it explains what was in the box ezio have to shao Jun

And no I doubt shay is the main villain

Arno's father and elise's father were sworn enemies , then how could arno even meet elise before he gets adopted ?

Francois probably didn't know charles was an assassin until after he had adopted arno. But, he ultimately decided not to convert him to the Templar ideals

That was the work he says connor undid, restoring the colonial assassins branch

I haven't seen what's in it, but I know that the same box was shown in freedom cry, and I remember shay being ordered to find it in the last mission

@theamazingbatman: connor most likely will.search on youtube 7 reasons connor return (i forgot the title those are just keywords).wheb u do the last mission (i only played unity and finished not rogue but i saw the mission on utube) u see arno talking to elise when he was small about the apples and the look of the guards face.

@theamazingbatman: sorry for the late reply.yea i played unity and finished in a week which was last week.it was slightly short on the storyline only but fun on the money side.what i think is that the next ac game will have connor,arno and shay(maybe shay will come cuz he was at versailes, the place next to paris,in unity we can travel there).in revelations there was altair and ezio(kinda), so why not have all of them in the next game,dince there all in the same timeline.

I doubt connor is appearing again (they even mention he had a crazy wife and died a messy death in rogue)

And Darby basically implied it

Now shay on the other hand would be about 63 at the end of unity so he might not even be fighting at this time

But he might get a dlc in a future game
