One of the faces of comic books’ Mount Rushmore, Stan Lee, was reportedly rushed to the hospital Sunday morning.

TMZ reports Lee, 92, was rushed to the Cedars-Sinai hospital yesterday morning from his Hollywood Hills home after he said he didn’t feel well. Lee has had a pacemaker since 2012. At this time nothing else is known about the emergency call.

But it doesn’t seem to be too serious as Lee’s rep told TMZ he’d be there for tonight's Ant-Man premiere in Hollywood.

Here's wishing Lee a speedy recovery.

On Sunday morning, comic book icon Stan Lee was rushed to the hospital, but with a healing factor that would make Wolverine envious he was able to make tonight's premiere of Ant-Man.

Sources for TMZ say the 92-year-old was "taken from his Hollywood Hills home to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center" yesterday. As of now, the reason for the emergency call to 911 isn't clear.

Lee was feeling well enough to be interviewed at the premiere, showing no signs of being under the weather. Actually, he was very upbeat and talkative like he normally is. He even quipped, "The only reason I came was to see my cameo."

On top of all the other celebrity deaths we've had this year, I really don't want Stan Lee to join their ranks just yet. It'd make 2015 an even worse year for it. Still, it is to be expected, he's getting on in years now, can't be as healthy as you used to be. But I hope Lee has a few more years left in him to make contributions to the comic book industry, it still needs him.

Let's not forget, he is 92 so he's going to pass from this world to the next someday; probably before the current line-up of Marvel movies are all out.

I always hoped he would at least make till 100 before saying goodbye.

@vivide: Well he's not dead and many famous authors, actors and other pop culture icons have passed away and we're only halfway through 2015. It'd suck if another such as Stan Lee joined their fold.
