Heroes/series you'd like to see return?

By this I mean, heroes that are no longer around. Heroes/villains/characters you'd wish were still around.

Now, don't hate me, but I haven't done my research 100% so to my knowledge these characters are no longer around. These are heroes/characters I'd like to see return

• Judge Dredd
• Spawn
• The Darkness
• Samurai Jack (I think he's a comic or manga?)
• Darksiders (I've read some comics, but idk if it was just for game purposes or they were legit comics)

• I've read a bit of the Manga and I'd LOVE to see a comic version of Priest.
• Haven't seen any true Orion stuff lately.

@omnibeast: Dredd, Spawn and Darkness are definitely still ongoing comics and Darkness I can definitely vouch for has been awesome for a long while now! Should definitely look up Volume 3 which is the current ongoing. ALSO, like you I would have loved more Samurai Jack, well GOOD NEWS because he just got an ongoing comic that's only a couple of issues in and it is good! :)

That aside, a new Iron Fist would be awesome with the other Immortal weapons involved! That would rule!

ALSO, I might kill for a good Booster Gold comic... man all that awesomeness built up after Infinite Crisis... all that potential... lost, like... tears in the rain... (sorry, couldn't resist!!)

But DC characters... not so much, not due to lack of love but because I've been pretty unhappy with some of the new versions of the characters - there are good but a great many bad - and the writing in general is either really good (like Swamp Thing, Batman under Snyder and a few others) or cheesy/pandering/gimmicky/cheap/pathetic.

Though if they change the status quo at DC management and editorial, I'd love to see a return for many great characters, most already named here!

@allstarsuperman: Never read much of darkness to begin with. I figured since there was a game his stuff was over. I figured the same with Dredd and his movies. Especially cause I actually haven't heard his name in years. I'd love some blade.

@kgb725: I guess I do. I didn't realize he was around. Stopped reading his stuff a long awhile ago. I figured after he dethroned Satan and God is was pretty much over.

Team up seems to be fan favorites.

Green Lantern and Green Arrow is been replace by The Flash and Green Lantern and would nice if they becomes friends on New 52 as well and is iconic book maybe due to Speedy ´s drug addiction.

Green Arrow and Canary are good team up, sure Black Canary might be older than Ollie and she is married to suposed dead Kurt Lance and dating Condor. But Black Canary team up Green Arrow could good for them as Batman said +- "she gives him focus and fightning spirit" and she wouldnt be just Batman family member and maybe even joinning JLA as well (Ammanda already consider having her on team with Stell and Captain Atom). But since 16 years old Dinah Drake and 13 years old Zatanna will team up on book in 2014.

Outsiders- It would assume that JLA would be a good team to have as Outsiders team and not to try to stop the powerhouses of DC. Funny that there was/is Batman Inc. and Outsiders group.

Titans mainly because they said that Teen Titans is only TT team that every exist. And there is books (Red Hood and the Outlaws and Batwoman, where Bette Kane said she was in team Teen Titans with Dick Grayson and flashback on RHatO were Starfire , Nightwing and Arsenal was in team ).

Secret Six under Gail Simone made not less likeavle characters into fan favorite. And he could do with New 52 forgotten characters (they exist) like Starling into book and events of Trinity War could affect the apperance of this book where villians start to do the good.

@omnibeast: Truth be told, I haven't read Spawn at all really since Hine stopped writing it a while back, the God stuff happened and it was kinda cool in it's own way and all but then it became a bit stupid, I kept a hand in to keep track and they got a new spawn which was pretty crap and then there was that whole "Image United" cluster-ffffrappe which was not just a colossal waste but turned Al-Spawn into a new big-bad or something, I just couldn't even be bothered to keep track after that to be honest and don't even know if it ever finished.

ALSO, Dredd never went anywhere, just never had that wide an American fan-base I think, his regular 2000AD and "Judge Dredd Megazine" stuff still comes out regularly and in fact IDW has not one but 2 new Dredd ongoings right now if I recall right...

@deadgod:I was and remain a die-hard fan of Tommy M, but that series was spectacular and ended with the same awesomeness of it's entire run - I'm happier to let it stay finished. Some things should not be resurrected. :)

Most of the characters from Malibu's Ultraverse. Marvel bought them, and after a series of crossover events, they haven't been seen since. Prime, Sludge, Firearm, Night Man, the Strangers, the Solution, Mantra, Freex, Wrath, Warstrike, Solitaire, Ghoul, Prototype, etc. I'd like to see them brought back in some way.

I'd also like to see a return of the Alien Legion.
