Has Iceman Become The New Batman

You know how at a time everyone thought batman could fight anyone and never lose, as long as he has prep? People were putting him against high tier beings with an unsubstantial amount of prep time, and lots of people would agree that batman would win.

In the idea that he "can't lose" is Iceman the new batman?

Sorry, I may have worded this wrong, but I was trying to make this thread as fast as possible. I have homework that I have to finish today :(. You get the general idea though right? =)

Yes, i saw a thread where he beat characters sky father level and above.

Before coming hear, I didn't consider Ice Man to be that powerful. I suppose I hadn't been keeping up with X-Men much back then.

He hasn't reached the Batman level though...

He will never reach Batgod level, he may become a herald of him though.

Iceman has become the new Flash. Batman is still Batman.

Iceman more or less is a force of nature. And he usually can't be physically harmed.

That's not something most characters can get around. But he is nowhere near the "Batman always has a plan" crap.

Nope he can lose to MANY characters but people like the OP just dont know that i guess

Iceman is fundamentally different from Batman.

A better comparison would be between Doctor Doom and Batman.

Bobby's powers make it so that a whole host of characters can't beat him, but there are a number of ways to get around physical ways of hurting him. High-tier magic(Dr. Fate, Dr. Strange, Arion), soul manipulation(Spawn, Mephisto, Ghost Rider), telepathy(Despero, Martian Manhunter, Brainwave) etc.

Iceman is like Flash now, his high end feats are always looked at but his low end feats when he gets incap'd or KO'd are ignored.

Not to mention he loses to just about any magic/telepathic character.

I'm waiting for the day I see someone pair him against Spawn.

He created threads where Batman couldn't win, even with a lot of prep and argued for him.
