@cgoodness: I presume you are referring to Keeper version when you say Silver Surfer with an amp but he didn't defeat Galactus but rather use most of his energies to feed Galactus to stop the fight.
As per the thread there are plenty. There is a classic issue where Ego has Galactus helpless and he has to run from a fight.
The combined Celestials did beat him. Mikaboshi in Zeus body left Galactus near dead. Surfer FF and Avengers together have beaten him a couple of times.
Thanos with IG as well as Nebula with IG both beat him.
These are just some off the top of my head. Once I get home hopefully in few days time I could list more instances as well as present scams or issue number if required
