Hall of Justice May Be Torn Down

So the building that was the real life inspiration for the Hall of Justice from Superfriends, as well as being featured in one of the Batman movies and in DC's Terminal City is in danger of being torn down.

This is the second time in its history the historic building has been under threat of demolition. :(

A building that beautiful should never be pulled down

Don't take it personally dude. i agree that this is sad. i think people in america and the western world should try to protect their landmarks more. Especially ones that have inspired great works of art like the Hall.

Seriously though, even if its not in use at the time, they don't have to knock it down. The can conduct other kinds of business there. I just fear that, especially in this country they would just build another mini mall or Wal Mart wear it once stood.

@emequious_swerve: Yep. The Hamilton County Commissioner wants to do a study to see if there might not be "better use" for the land.

Something similar happened not two far from where I live. I don't want it to happen again.

Maybe DC could buy the building and have a museum on the history of DC Comics. I know this would never happen, but it would be pretty damn cool. A building with such influence should not be taken down.

Admittedly that would get you more comments. I just made myself sad.
