Hal Jordan - Green Lantern

Hi All!

I need some guidance. Now with Marvel going all "hay-wire" I decided to read more DC and especially mare about Hal Jordan a.k.a. Green Lantern. There is a few questions I wanna ask and hope you can help. Which Green Lantern is the best of the 5 (I think it's 5 earthly ones) and what story line or lines can I read to get to know him better and follow him? I don't wanna read Green Lantern Corp. or JL. Only Green Lantern. Please assist if you can

read Geoff johns run specifically Sinestro corps war and green lantern:blackest night both available in trade. also the new green lantern title has some exciting thing coming up post convergence. In addition there is a trade that collects the complete green lantern/green arrow (if you like silver age stuff) it's cheaper on comixology but totally worth it and it really highlights who Hal Jordan underneath the mask. also emerald twilight and emerald dawn are both great too.

Green Lantern: Rebirth is also good to read.
