Could someone fill me in on the way that Maltusains went from being big beefcakes like Krona was in the jla/avengers crossover to being the little people that they are now?
I just skimmed some stuff, but it looks like it was explained in somewhat broad strokes in Green Lantern v2 200 that the way they focused their energies (i.e. on thought and science and such) meant they didn't need their physical bodies as much, so I guess they just kind of atrophied.
A lot of their origin and history is also gone over in the one-shot Green Lantern: Ganthet's Tale.
