Cool, big time opportunity for Kuder. Hopefully this team restores Action to where it belongs...#2 right behind Detective.
Detective needs a lot of work to make it number one...
Um Layman is amazing. You like crack? It seems like it.

Umm sorry but the big news here is Pak on Eternal Warrior..
Eternal who?
Thank god Jae Lee isn't coming with him to Action with that horrible artwork.
WWWWWWWWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
TAKE IT BACK, TAKE IT BACK!!!!
I've been saying for years Greg Pak needs to write Superman. He handles powerful characters so well. (Hulk and Hercules) Not only did he inject humor and action into those books, but he also had a deep understanding of what made them tick and that made the books really interesting. Can't wait to see what he can do with Superman!
i was planning on dropping Action Comics from my list, i think i'm going to have to reconsider this.
@lolzstastic: you shouldn't be allowed to ask that question when google exists
@extremis: Not really the point of my question
This is a great choice for a new creative team on Action. Superman just isn't my thing and I'll already get my fix of Pak writing the character with Batman/Superman, but it's still good news to hear this legendary series will be back on track after the big controversy a few months back.
@lolzstastic: no I know. You were being facetious. I didn't care for it.
Read Valiant. That is all.
@hanson724: yeah me too. And the art looks great from the cover reveal
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHH MYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD! YES YES YES! F*CKING GREG PAK AND HIS WRITING ! HE IS DA F*CKING MAN!
I knew you'd react something like this :P
In any case, I'm glad Action Comics is in good hands. Pak is a much better fit than most people and should be able to take this series in a strong direction.
This clueless, pretentious wannabe filmmaker needs to be Superman punched through his skull by the Hulk. Everything he says is a cliche, he is a cliche. A typical whiny little bitch. It's a frakin comic book movie , sit down, eat your popcorn and STFU and enjoy the DC ACTION COMIC book hero movie. If we wanted any lip from him we would have rattled our zipper. This noob should actually watch his own pathetic movie and critique it.
I have been collecting Superman comics since the early 70's and was more than happy with MOS considering the crap they have produced thus far since the 70's. MOS is the only movie to take Superman right from the comic book pages and put him on the big screen. The only reason this guy even got a chance to make his shit movie Chronicle was because he is known as kneel and bob in Hollywood.
This is amazingly good news! Look forward to how Greg will take on AC, and already I'm psyched for the release of Batman-Superman come tomorrow!
I've been to the future and I come back with a sneak peek into Action Comic's future:
Superman will be exiled to deep space after consuming a Kryptonite laced burrito, he lands on a distant planet where all the inhabitants share his power set, after fighting his way through the ranks of the planets elite he's crowned king, following an accident that wipes out the population of his new kingdom he returns to Earth to wage war upon those he deems responsible. After much punching/fighting and dialogue that constantly reminds us of the situation, Superman will realize he can't bring back what he lost through revenge, the story arc will end with no resolution and Greg Pak will be replaced by the writing team of Zack Snyder and Geoff Johns. You have been warned..........
@extremis: Nope
@lolzstastic: heh then I pity your impoverished taste
@extremis: K
Have fun with your hipster comics
Thank god Jae Lee isn't coming with him to Action with that horrible artwork.
... You're kidding, right?
never read planet hulk, but i like what he's saying about his plans. he has the right mind set going into it, it sounds like it can only be a positive and people who have read his stuff seem enthusiastic so bring it on ! :D
Planet Hulk was awesome. And World War Hulk after was a fun read, too once you get past all of the plot devices. You should check them out if you're a Hulk fan.
@lolzstastic: *sigh* silly poozer. Maybe one day you'll understand if you step out of your little sandbox.
@extremis: Sorry to disappoint but i use the toilet

No. I cannot understand people who like Jae Lee's art. It's really terrible, no sense of movement, his expressions are idiotic, and he can't draw a panel without some sort of stringy or spiky blackness all over the background. Of all the artists in comics, only Jae Lee makes me seriously not want to read whatever book he's drawing, which is too bad because Pak's story seems really interesting here.
