Green lantern help!

can anyone suggest what comic i should dig into? The guy at the comic book shop suggested Green Lantern series with Simon Baz. but for someone reason I was always found of Guy or Kyle because of 90's comic issues. So I was wondering if anyone can help me and give me a suggestion of what GL book I should stick with.

I'd go with what the guy at the comic shop suggested.

Maybe just wait for Hal Jordan to go back to the Green Lantern title.

If you like Guy and Kyle, definitely pick up the Green Lantern Corps trades from before the New 52. It's very Guy and Kyle heavy, and has great writing and art.

You mean Guy and John from GLC.

Out of all the books Green Lantern is the most well received. Personally, I get the most excited about New Guardians the most every month. That series features the entire spectrum of lanterns (go skittle squad!). However, the art is awful and the dialogue is alright. I suggest just picking up all four, just in case you are interested in Red Lanterns, and seeing for yourself.

No, I don't. I was recommending the pre-New 52 GLC series, which would be perfect for a fan of Kyle and Guy. If @Da_Batzo23 hasn't read Green Lantern Corps: Recharge and the GLC series that followed it, I would recommend those stories over the current New 52 Green Lantern Corps series.

But if @Da_Batzo23 is only interested in New 52 comics, then yes, @Juandicimo_Magnifico45 is correct. John and Guy can be found in GLC and Kyle can be found in New Guardians. Unfortunately, I don't think either hold a candle (or a lantern in this case) to the main Green Lantern title. Personally, I recommend reading Johns and Mahnke's Green Lantern, even though the character's Batzo's interested in, Guy and Kyle, are nowhere to be found in it. Batzo, you might find Baz's struggle to become a Green Lantern similar to what you liked about Kyle's early appearances.
