'Gotham' Premiere Date and Time Announced

Gotham City and its inhabitants are coming to your TV sets this year and we now know when the first episode will air. If you want to see young Jim Gordon's adventures and all-new origin stories for several of Gotham's heroes and villains, you'll need to watch Fox on Monday, September 22 at 8/7c. In case you're wondering, it'll air until 9/8c.

Gotham is heading to San Diego Comic-Con (which is only two weeks away!), so if any more big news drops about the upcoming show, we'll be sure to post it! I hope it's good, I'll definitely be watching. I really love the idea of all these superhero TV shows. Sometimes TV is more satisfying than a movie. Constant stimulation!

Looks like I might have to stop reading comic books to make time for this...Wait, that doesn't work.

Comicbook animated shows may be doing poorly, but live-action shows are as good as ever!

The reason why I said this is because since Arrow is the best DC comics show, a sister show, Flash is tagging along with it. I would only focus on these two, which will be by far, the two best DC comic book shows than Gotham and Constantine. For Gotham, I don't trust much in Fox but I'm a bit excited to see how the show's going to turn out. For Constantine, one of his most, important character traits has been taken off, including the show isn't heavily targeted for adults. There's no need to press the panic button by watching four shows in a row. =P

I've seen the trailer. But it still doesn't make a difference. Like I said, the show isn't targeted due to adult audience compared to GOT and other adult-themed shows. The smoking is gone. Since this series is from Vertigo, it would be a lot better for either HBO, Showtime, Starz or AMC to pick Constantine up rather than NBC.

@the_impersonator: Fair enough, what do you think about the idea of a Preacher TV show on HBO? I think Seth Cohen is involved.

@the_impersonator: I'm not that excited for Gotham. I watched Constantine Pilot it was not bad. Flash Pilot was great. Arrow is awesome.

@the_impersonator: You should at least give the pilot a try. I saw it and I liked the dark, horror, suspenseful, atmosphere the show has. The script and acting are also spectacular. Constantine's portrayal is also spot on IMO,and this is coming from someone who initially wasn't on board with the series LOL.

constantine is at least awesome. the first episode was very good. gotham looks cheap and poorly and loosely written. just like arrow. without the abs for the women. the only watchers.

Been reading a lot of Batman lately, and with the my interest in the Arrow and Flash shows will be looking forward to this as well.

Actually, AMC is doing it. It's Seth Rogen, (not Seth Cohen. =P) I heard he's involved in the series, which is good by the way. He's the right guy for doing the series since Preacher had comedic tones to it. I certainly can't wait to see how it's done.

Well...why not? I'll give the pilot a try. =P You may be right about it. When I saw the trailer and read the news, he almost stays close to his comic book character roots, his accent, his appearance. If they only added smoking, then it wouldn't be a problem. But who knows? Maybe, the NBC execs will change their mind and put smoking back. Only time will tell.

really excited for the show but why would they air this during monday night Raw and monday night football......

Going to give this a try, but I'm not expecting much. I have more hopes for Constantine even though I'm not a huge Constantine fan.
