Godzilla 2014 did anyone else think of breaking bad?

Everyone did, I personally was waiting for Bryan to sell him some meth, and win via drug stupored Godzilla doing nothing but getting super methed up.

Its why TV actors struggle to break out in the movie business. They can't escape the role they were famous for.

Although everyone likes to name various names of people who have done it, far, far, far, far more has failed.

I hope Cranston does it, but the odds are not in his favor, especially considering his age :3

Except Cranston already did it. It took me a couple seasons of Breaking Bad before I stopped seeing Hal from Malcolm in the Middle, and started seeing Walter White.

@jaken7: No he didn't. He hasn't even been the lead actor in a notable film...

He'll always be Hal fro Malcolm in the Middle to me. It had a longer run than Breaking Bad, and I found Hal to be a better character.

I'm not talking about TV actors breaking into movies. I'm talking about actors breaking out of their most well-known roles. Cranston already did that when he started being more renowned as Walter White than he ever was as Hal.

He was! And he was in his underwear more than Walt was, even though that image of Walt in his whitey-tighties is so iconic.

You know he would! If Hal isn't friendly towards you, you're probably a Nazi. Hal is as likable as a kitten.
