BETTER!
GREAT!!!!
I like the new 52 version of the costume....the teenage, alien cheerleader costume just wasn't exactly doing it for me,but that's just my sole opinion.

Why must female comic characters constantly be sexualized?
2 reasons
Just give her pants. the crotch triangle and skirt are equally bad.
God that's hideous! I'm thoroughly convinced the prudes that are out to change comics care more about full coverage, than they do about what looks good, or fits the character.
If some women in comics are sexualized it's because women in real life do it to themselves. Why aren't comics allowed to reflect that?
Why are fashion and beauty magazines that are aimed at women allowed to be sexy, but comics are not?
No one forces women in real life to wear mini skirts, booty shorts, push-up bras, high heels, make-up, fake lashes and hair weaves, but some do it every day.
Are they not deserving of representation in comic books?
I don't really have a preference. I like both the New 52 (especially with Kenneth Rocafort) and the Pre-52 look
@scorpio_cassadine: bravo bravo i love when smart people enter threads like these
p.s agreed that is hideous its why im not reading smallville because of all those lame ass costumes
@the_stegman: I like this
@avenging_x_bolt: @the_stegman: i wonder what would happen if characters like....say power girl or starfire were to end up in that title. i guess more lame costumes ugh
@lifeofvibe: I actually like it, so I have no idea why you replied to my comment.
Just give her pants. the crotch triangle and skirt are equally bad.
Aren't those four reasons?

no i wear the mini skirt now.
Give it back you pervert you're a male.
She is 30 years old. Plus the others outfits arent good either. Her costume are always short most of them cover only cleavage areas. The last we even can see her red panties in flying pose.

So? You can see Wonder Woman's all the time.

Notice how no one can refute my points, or answer my questions, so they just continue to repost that fugly picture. lol

*sigh* fine, I'll answer
1. The costume being ugly is your opinion, not fact
2. I have no problem with women in comics being sexual, that's not why I want her to wear pants.
3. The reason I don't like the New 52 look is because her having a red triangle right over her crotch is just ridiculous, I find it as ridiculous as you apparently find that pants picture. Also, her having a skirt is equally ridiculous. Who the heck is gonna take her seriously in a skirt? she looks like a school girl or a a girl scout, yeah, criminals will definitely quake in terror. Secondly, she can fly, thus, when she does, or when a strong wind hits her, boom, Supergirl's super panties will be all over TMZ.
4. You're comparing apples and oranges with the fashion models in magazines. The models job is to be sexy, a superheroine's job first and foremost is to fight crime, not get criminals aroused.
@wolverine08: Agreed. Like no pants.... AT ALL.... Nothing....

Well said.
I've always wondered about that myself. It seems a pretty poor dress choice for that line of work, not to mention that in 9/10 encounters requiring a superhero that skirt is going to get torn off because it's just hanging off her. There's a reason skirts aren't worn in the majority of female athletic events or in jobs with physical components. I don't understand what's so bad about pants, if you really still need to sexualize her just play with the cleavage like they did for every other female character in the New 52. If anything looks silly and impractical it's long sleeves and no pants. How does that combination make sense?
1I was talking about lack of cleavage area on n52 costume comparing the other costumes. I dont have a problem with Wonder Woman.

A nugget of CV Gold <3

Comic girls with pants instead of underwear, skirts, or spandex? You must be crazy sir!
@attatje: no it shows off my legs

And isn't she like 16?

the skirt rocks. I never did like the tank top/bicycle shorts thing either
@the_stegman: who's gonna take her seriously? and the same can be said for pre 52 supeman with his underwears on the outside
But anyways who cares? theres something really cool about that caus at first they don't take he seriously...then they know to take her seriously its been done a lot in comics but it doesn't make it any less cool
