I read a couple of comics lately that got me thinking: namely, the Thessaly comics, and the Vertigo series Faultlines. In both series, the protagonist becomes involved in some way with a ghost. So I have been wondering - are there any other comics in which the main character befriends, falls in love with, or is otherwise aided by a ghost? O_O

I dunno about comics but I got a special ghostie. :3 Seems like an interesting concept though. Haven't read it all of it myself, though I've been meaning to, but the series I, Zombie seems like it might contain something along similar lines -- similar meaning paranormal creature-types dealing with slice of life situations, I'm assuming. o.o

@ragdollpurps: Awesome, yes, similar is something I can work with :) Thanks!

I don't know if he has any stories going on now, but DC comics has Deadman who is a ghost.

I suppose it's kind of a spoiler but there's a great issue of Madame Xanadu that I thought of, the story itself is about a ghost (which you don't learn until the end)

Hellboy also interacts with a lot of ghosts

Not read a lot of Hellboy, I will certainly check it out. But the Madame Xanadu story - that sounds even more interesting, I am quite fond of the character and would like to read a bit more.

Abe Sapien had some great stories, and Saga as mentioned before

Deadites in the Evil Dead series might count somewhat but they aren't the friendly type of spirits.
