I'll be honest with you guys, I'm really not sure how this happened. I'm not sure which came first. There seems to be a "push-up" thread HERE. Also, apparently yesterday Red L.A.M.P. challenged Babs to a push-up contest. She decided to take him up on the challenge. Somehow a couple other of us got roped into the challenge. Tune in to find out who the best around is.
In Coonce's defence, he's got a really long way to push up. Big, long arms are a terrible disadvantage in a push up contest. Or at least, that's the excuse I use.

If I remember correctly Babs does makes one hell of amazing flan (if thats how you spell it)!!! Looks like all of you need to start some training if your going to take on the guys at giantbomb GMAN needs to break at least 30 next week
Red L.A.M.P. clearly is the winner. G-Man, you failed, you didn't do them correctly and you KNOW it. *sheesh* ( I want that shirt.) However, I bet given enough time and practice, Babs would whoop all your asses. She hadn't even done them before and look how many she did and with good form. The dog however is the clear winner out of everyone. He rocks!
You got some nice farmer's tans there. lol I averaged a pretty good guess on how many push-ups Babs could do.

My football coach, in high school, taught us to do push-ups on our finger tips to improve our grip. What you need is an impartial judge. The Wii Fit has a great push-up challenge. It can measure if you do a push-up properly.
after reviewing the video i noticed many drink containers present. i demand the contestants be tested for ateroids, amphetimines, and alkyl nitrites before agreeing to the outcome given.
@G-Man: Good job G-Man, nice form too. Your upper arms barely went past 90 degrees which is good form. How is it doing push-ups in flip flops by the way?
I would like to see the comic vine vs giant bomb competition. "The Whiskey powered Olympics", "Nerd battle dome '09". Gotta do more than pushups and physical competition, we need some events to reflect what we do has super fans.
I like the dog. Lol I jus lost my 8 year old lab Zeke to cancer and am training my 5 month old Macgyver. Great dogs. And nice form guys and Babs. Lol This was pretty funny
